"Geronimo! Enemy killed in action!"... More details about the moments before Osama Bin Laden's extermination are made public:

This doesn't exactly fit the specific topics of this blog, but it is peripherally related and very interesting, regardless. This video report from CNN discusses some of the intimate details of the raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound by the U.S. Navy SEALs. It includes details of how they entered the compound, who they encountered on the way (and dispatched of the sorry bastards), and finally, how they exterminated that pesky insect Osama Bin Laden. It also discusses the President's reaction immediately following  the declaration of Bin Laden's death, as well as other interesting details.

I'd like to commend the U.S. Navy SEALs for their bravery and efficiency in this mission. To my readers... Enjoy, and share your thoughts!

IF the video isn't working, as I think it might not for some of you, here is a direct link: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2011/08/02/exp.tsr.todd.bin.laden.raid.cnn?

Sorry for the technical difficulties!

  5. Did the embedded video on my post work for anyone?

And, Tony, what makes you think Bin Laden's death is a hoax?

  6. Kinda sucks that the girl got shot in the leg, I mean only because she probably didn't choose to be in that position, but that soldier guy was really brave grabbing them like he did.

  7. Yea, I agree Heather, but they could've very easily been trying to kill him, and how they both approached him definitely seemed sketchy. They're very lucky he only shot them in the leg to be honest. Yea, he was very brave for taking it upon himself to absorb the blast of the bombs, knowing OBL's wives could've easily been wearing them. Highly dramatic stuff.

  9. Too bad the bitches who killed him couldn't capture him alive for a lot of excruciatingly painful torture.

  10. It's kind of fishy that a body wasn't shown right away... I don't know.

  11. Yea, I hear ya. But, I think what makes it not fishy is it seems that Al Qaeda nor anyone else have denied that he was found and killed. At least, I didn't hear anything. It's most likely true, considering this, the U.S. probably just thought it was better tact not to show his shabby, shot-up corpse. I mean, he did have a (presumably) huge hole in his head and chest from assault rifles. Not pretty stuff. I have a feeling that photos will one day surface, though. You heard it here first!
